Yoga for Mental Wellness (Six-week Series) - in person, Telegraph


This six-week yoga series will be held on Wednesday mornings from 6:45-8:15 AM beginning May 17th and ending June 28th (with no class on May 31st). 

 

Classes will combine asana vinyasa with devotional elements such as sankalpa (spontaneous intention setting) and linking mantra with breath in the practice of the asana to create an emphasis on concentrating the mind for greater access to our intuitive intelligence, compassion, and gratitude. Green Yogi students are invited to attend this as a series or on a drop-in basis.


The series is part of a larger online course, Yoga and Ayurveda for Mental Wellness, that Scott is teaching through his organization Doctor Blossom  www.doctorblossom.com. Meet your instructor: Dr. Scott Blossom

For more than 25 years, Scott Blossom has integrated Traditional Chinese (TCM), Ayurveda, somatics, and evidence-based nutrition into his clinical practice and educational offerings. In addition to his clinical practice, Scott currently offers online integrative wellness courses on the intersection of microbiome science with Āyurveda and yoga-based somatic practices.
