Dedicate an afternoon to your own self-care and yoga practice! Self-care is an intentional act of self-compassion, one that requires a bit of planning and allows you to step away from daily responsibilities to encounter your calm, curious, creative, and courageous self! Sometimes in the "busy-ness" of life this is challenging to do, however, self-care is essential to stress-management and overall well being, both in the short and long-term. Yoga practice helps.
This two-hour workshop will include:
~ Community discussion of elements of self-care including boundaries, relationships, & stress-management
~ Complete yoga practice of postures focusing on the hips, chest, neck, and shoulders (as these are often high tension-holding areas of the body)
~ Yogic conscious breathing to calm the nervous system, mantra & meditation to clear the mind, and deep relaxation to reveal inner peace.
Recommended to bring:
~ Yoga mat (props are available at the studio if needed)
~ Water bottle
~ Journal and pen

Investment for this nourishing session is $35 - $55 sliding scale
Folks with more privilege (white, cis, straight) are invited to give more to support scholarships for those impacted by state violence: Immigrants, Queer and Trans folks, and Black, Indigenous and People of color (BIPOC) folks.
