They are a humble student of the land and a lover of all things sacred. Madaly's mission is to support you to open your heart to the universe, tap into your intuitive gifts, and heal across generations and timelines. They are committed to trauma-informed facilitation and believe that you are your own best healer.
Madaly has been in a deep study with cacao since 2017. They have shared cacao circles with thousands of people across the US. Cacao found Madaly when they first got sober. Cacao was and is a big part of their recovery journey. Madaly is in deep devotion and service to the medicine, to the cacao spirit, the land, and the original keepers of this medicine: the Mayans. Madaly has had the privilege of studying with Mayan elders, Mexican curanderas, and other incredible healers.
Since 2018, Madaly has been serving their community with healing and heart work. In their thriving alternative healing business, Madaly LOVES creating sacred & trauma-informed spaces of transformation and healing to happen for 1:1 and groups. They host cacao circles, grief ceremonies, recovery groups, integration spaces, microdosing protocols, and sober dance events. Madaly is passionate about youth work, having taught mindfulness and social emotional learning techniques to thousands of young people across the bay area.
Madaly received a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Justice at UC Berkeley, where they cultivated a fierce passion for food sovereignty and land-based farming practices such as agroecology. Since 2016, they have supported the work of over a dozen community-based bay area nonprofits across multiple industries, such as: food access in food swamp areas, mindfulness/social emotional learning for youth, and abolition work to end mass incarceration. Madaly excels in a vast array of roles, including: outreach and education, community organizing, program management, administrative operations, facilitation/training, and more!
Madaly's roots are from Mexico, with their ancestors descending of the Chichimec, Nahua-Otomi, & Purepecha people (as well as Spanish ancestry). Madaly is on a deep journey of self-love through decolonization work.
