lucid dawn, she/they is an ERYT500+, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapist, teacher of teachers, Peer Counselor, Non-dual Tantrik witch, ritualist/ceremony leader, performance artist/activist, author, mother, and lover of life.

lucid has been studying and practicing yoga since 1993, four years into a healing path of recovery from early life trauma and abuse. She began teaching kids and fellow circus performers in 2003 and graduated her first teacher training in 2006. lucid went on to complete multiple trainings in the years to follow; Anusara 300+ hrs, Yoga for Cancer & Chronic Illness 200h., Therapeutic Yoga 500h, Non-Dual Tantrik Saivism 300+h, LifeLine Technique 150h, AcroYoga 50h, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy 100h, & more... lucid has a thirst for knowledge and practices living fully, including courageously facing death and helping others to do so. lucid has been leading yoga, ritual, expressive movement, sound, and community connection workshops at festivals, retreats, and events all over the world for decades. For over a decade, she toured with Nona Fender & the Benders, a live music comedy party yoga band. lucid has been leading teacher trainings and non-dual Tantrik Immersions since 2022. 

Her first book, “Dispelling the Binary, Tools to Heal Manufactured Divides”, is released in early 2025.

lucid’s classes are often called “the sweetest ass-kicking ever.” They begin slow and gentle to commune lovingly with the bodymind, then build heat and intensity with steady attention to alignment and core connection in order to safely open into fluid dancing sequences. She weaves in the philosophy and practices of non-dual tantra, playful self-expression, therapeutics, and honoring of where we are in space and time on all layers of being. The character of classes varies based on the phase of the moon, season, and weather - cosmic and sociopolitical. Nervous system care, cultivation of meditative awareness, digestion of the intensity of modern life, refining of the senses, chanting/toning, breath practice, poetry, and wisdom readings are all common focuses of lucid yoga classes.
