Living in Devotion: Self-Study & Yoga Philosophy (2-Day Immersion)

  • Green Yogi Telegraph 2807 Telegraph Avenue Berkeley, CA, 94705 United States (map)

Join this immersive weekend of practice and yogic philosophy with Susannah Freedman!

Here we open the doorway to our higher heart, beyond this realm of duality. This is the place of our spirit, where our soul does dwell. Hridaya! The key that unlocks this path is unique to each of us and it is therefore up to each of us to explore our own, unique, Truth of that pathway in.

Senior Teacher, Susannah Freedman takes us on an exploration of ancient yogic texts and scriptures that serve as a roadmap into our Hridaya (Spiritual Heart). We then weave in the ancient wisdom offered through these texts into our practices, into our teachings, and into our way of Living.

Susannah Freedman

Susannah teaches a rigorous style of Bhakti Vinyasa yoga, which includes beautiful chants, fluid sequencing, and nuggets of Yoga Philosophy that are both profound and accessible. She has a somewhat notorious dry sense of humor, and her playlists are always fire. Her sincerest goal is to offer a space in which people can find refuge inside their own bodies, and she firmly believes that as a global community we need to find a way to understand the concept that, as her teacher Stephanie Snyder says, we are different but not separate.

In 2010 she completed her first yoga teacher training, and in 2014 she received her Masters in Philosophy and Religion.

Susannah currently leads Yoga Teacher Trainings, retreats and workshops around the world, as well as private, public, and corporate classes all over the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yoga Teachers and Yoga Teacher Trainers: This immersion offers 16-Hours of Continuing Education hours with the Yoga Alliance, and can be applied towards the required hours for our Green Yogi 300-hour teacher training.
