Deep Flow is a practice that emphasizes being present while moving (and grooving) from one pose to the other. We will also select certain poses to spend more time in to explore alignment and opening to get to know our self a bit more. While this offers a great workout, it also brings us in to a greater intimately with ourselves. We will be using the breath as the vehicle to deepen our awareness. All this is happening in an atmosphere filled with love and acceptance, plus some great and inspirational playlists. This class offers the gift of exploring your body temple, while surrendering to great cues of alignment and hands on adjustments. Often includes chanting to set the Bhav (mood) of the class.
Yoga begins with the body and yet opens us to the spirit. Satya invites you to her classes for this very reason. Her innermost wish is to help you open to what is in the present moment and let that stretch you to what is beyond. Satya's classes are a combination of sweat, breath, and brawn all in service to the soul. Her hands are wise, her heart is strong, and her sequencing dynamic. Focus is welcomed in her classes as are smiles and laughter.
Satya has studied and taught yoga for more than 30 years both in India and the States. She has practiced many forms. She still enjoys learning and the opportunity to teach and serve. She brings personallness and intimacy as much as passion and steadfastness to each class. Satya hopes to see you and that you will be gracing her class soon.
