Lisa has spent over 25 years immersing herself in Yogic and Buddhist traditions, navigating through various paths of spiritual wisdom. Her journey deepened two decades ago when she discovered the transformative teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda's self-realization and kriya yoga, eventually becoming an initiate in this revered lineage.
Eventually, a thirst for deeper understanding led her to the nuanced and esoteric world of Non-Dual Tantra. As a tantrika, Lisa currently studies with several esteemed teachers, including Christopher (Hareesh) Wallis, Ācārya Sthaneshwar Timalsina of Vimarsha Foundation, Swami Lakshmanjoo (via his direct students) of Lakshmanjoo Academy, and Yongey Mingur Rinpoche. The profound teachings and practices of non-dual tantra have transformed from intellectual concepts to lived, embodied experiences within Lisa, deeply enriching her work as a psycho-spiritual counselor and meditation teacher.
On the personal side, Lisa is married and has an adult daughter, two mischievous cats and a slightly neurotic but very loveable labradoodle.
